Behind the scene of photoshoot

Our photoshoots are fun. Sometimes we have to paint where ever it is convenient. Here we are preparing for the gypsy shoot; model's been painted and the gypsy dog is waiting patiently for his star moment. Looks lke he is relaxing too.

We laugh a lot and we'll put models at ease. The laughter is the best way of relaxing. We work hard and we get professional results.

The staff is Fine Art trained, teacher trained, therapy trained, make-up trained and of course Photography trained for the highest level. The minimun level of training is University degree; nothing less do.

The Photographer; that is me, has got three degrees, numerous refresment training courses; teacher qualification and CBT training for understanding psyghological and emotional subjects..

The staff is CRB checked, so we can work with children. You can book in confidence.

Spring is coming fast and the garden's, private and public are starting to look perfect for shooting models....

The beaches are just calling to get my gear setted up and the wind can't wait to wisle throught your hair... buildings, offices, shopping centres; nothing can't escape this one...

I am shooting differently. No boring photos past through my hands. If you like your photos in wicked style, vintage style or why not go naked...Then you just need to book your slot....

Every evening I have been standing in the dark with my camera.

Every evening they come like a clock, in time.

They send two first to check the way, to see all is fine.

Half an hour later you can start waiting noisy party.

They fly in perfect formation, everybody has they place..

I know they route and timetable by now, so I can wait in the right place..

Just when the last sun ray falls and it's nearly black, I hear them.

They fly over my head, nearly touching, like every night... It is amazing, noisy and breathtakingly beautiful...

I am with them alone, every night the past two years...

It is something special......to me..

How to think productively

My bible of thinking 'Paul Brunton's The secret Path':

When you sit down in your comfortable chair and calm down after a hectic day; close your eyes and breath deeply and you may begin the exciting travel into yourself, to explore in depth what you really are.... and that is the point of it all; really think what you are: What is me? How does me exist? and where does it go..At the beginning it is difficult to understand what Paul Brunton is talking about, but it all comes clear if you read further.

The key of thinking is to think slowly; It is vital to slow your wondering brain and concentrate, so think slow. Next, think about words; it is crusial to be able to form a right wording to your thoughts. It keeps your thinking clear and precious. What do you think also needs a properly structured sentence and rightly chosen words. Then you may begin:

First of all listen how your mind works. You see; you have a stream of random thoughts. Try to imagine that other people can hear all your thoughts as a sentences. Ask yourself: 'Who thinks like that?' Now try to understand as an outsider 'who is that thinker'? The 'who' is 'me'. 'Me' sleeps, wakes up, works and speaks. What is in us that we call 'me'? Those of you who believe that everything is material or matter, may say that this is my body and 'me' was born at the same time that I entered here from the wound. This believe ends when I die. Some people believe that 'me' exist after death and therefor it is a spiritual. If we can define what is 'me' and the relationship with the body, we can investigate our visible persona and visible 'me'.

In daily basis we have a random thoughs. If we patiently investigate them, we can put words and sentences in place and start to understand who we are, what is our ego, what is 'me' and how other people see it.

'I am' means I am alive at this moment of time. ...here is the but: ...we can't be surethat when our body is gone ' I am'does not exist anymore. There is no proof for one way or another.

Now I am, but when my body weakens, I'll get ill or I'll get stronger or when my body is just changing; the question emerges: what is happening to 'me'. The mind is a big factor in 'I am'. If the mind is healthy is 'me' stronger or weaker? If the mind is ill, is 'me' or 'I am' weaker or stronger.. You can only find that out by exercising your thinking process.

People usually know what they mean and what they think; however interpretation of that 'others are' is changing accordingly. That depends upon what the other person thinks and believes. When I tell you what I think; you don't hear it as such. You hear what I am saying according to your own thinking processes and your own believes.. This is so interesting; We 'read' each other's differently... This is because we want to hear what we want to hear, not necessary what is said....

I am sitting outside in a full sun...,.yes...it seems to be summer again, and I can't see the quality of my photo. If it is rubbish, it is just too bright out here...

I was just thinking....(.suprise!!!!suprise!!!!) about my fantasticly different brain today. Not because I am interested in biology of human body, but just to analyse how difficult it is sometimes to own one special brain like mine. At the same time, it would be bloody difficult without it... I often wonder what would it be like with on little more normal?. Would it be easier and would I be happier? Well, definately not so interesting anyway.

I have extra departments on my brain and they have a special functionalities; The first of all I have this huge capability of imagining and seeing visual scenaries. When I look at people, I can visualise they entire life just according they body language. It all might be wrong or it might be right.....Often it is the lather...Sometimes my imagination swamps me, all channels seem to be open at the same time. This makes things a bit tricky when I need to concentrate on practicalities...I live most of the time on cloud seven.

When I am listening somebodys conversation, I am able to left my body, travel thousants of miles, pop into the other side of the world and back and answer the question required nearly at the right time and nearly always in the right manner. Sometimes there are some delays, but mostly I am an the ball with my surroundings....

I love spending time inside my head. Equally I love meeting people with the gifts like me, so we can compare the notes.

My extra terrestrial brain is very annoying only when I have a deadline; the more stressed I get, the more I am devided in million directions. Therefore I work well under stress, but I don't cope it well..hhhmmm...if you get my drift...

This is how it works; My brain has ability to be overly stimulated at all times..so for example, when I am outside, I am obviously surrounded by images, sounds and smells. However, one thing I can't do is to filter them so I am constantly overwelmed by it all. Normal brain can collect needed information and filter the rest leaving them outside. Mine can't. I receive it all. Most of the time it is an information -super-high-way for me. Feelings, touching, smells, thoughts, excitement, happiness, sadness and more for me are over saturated.

It is often called mental illness.......for me it is just an extra dimension...the gift....extra terrestrial brain...

Biological basis for Creativity linked to mental illness

ScienceDaily (Oct. 1, 2003) — Psychologists from the University of Toronto and Harvard University have identified one of the biological bases of creativity:

The study in the September issue of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology says the brains of creative people appear to be more open to incoming stimuli from the surrounding environment. Other people's brains might shut out this same information through a process called "latent inhibition" - defined as an animal's unconscious capacity to ignore stimuli that experience has shown are irrelevant to its needs. Through psychological testing, the researchers showed that creative individuals are much more likely to have low levels of latent inhibition.
"This means that creative individuals remain in contact with the extra information constantly streaming in from the environment," says co-author and U of T psychology professor Jordan Peterson. "The normal person classifies an object, and then forgets about it, even though that object is much more complex and interesting than he or she thinks. The creative person, by contrast, is always open to new possibilities."
Previously, scientists have associated failure to screen out stimuli with psychosis. However, Peterson and his co-researchers - lead author and psychology lecturer Shelley Carson of Harvard University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Harvard PhD candidate Daniel Higgins - hypothesized that it might also contribute to original thinking, especially when combined with high IQ. They administered tests of latent inhibition to Harvard undergraduates. Those classified as eminent creative achievers - participants under age 21 who reported unusually high scores in a single area of creative achievement - were seven times more likely to have low latent inhibition scores. The authors hypothesize that latent inhibition may be positive when combined with high intelligence and good working memory - the capacity to think about many things at once - but negative otherwise. Peterson states: "If you are open to new information, new ideas, you better be able to intelligently and carefully edit and choose. If you have 50 ideas, only two or three are likely to be good. You have to be able to discriminate or you'll get swamped."
"Scientists have wondered for a long time why madness and creativity seem linked," says Carson. "It appears likely that low levels of latent inhibition and exceptional flexibility in thought might predispose to mental illness under some conditions and to creative accomplishment under others."
For example, during the early stages of diseases such as schizophrenia, which are often accompanied by feelings of deep insight, mystical knowledge and religious experience, chemical changes take place in which latent inhibition disappears.
"We are very excited by the results of these studies," says Peterson. "It appears that we have not only identified one of the biological bases of creativity but have moved towards cracking an age-old mystery: the relationship between genius, madness and the doors of perception."
This research was funded by the Stimson Fund and the Clark Fund at Harvard University and by the Connaught Fund at U of T.

We have a great collection of driftwood art in our home, all woods collected from underwater. The rule of collecting has always been that they have to be dived and removing them can't harm any animals or underwater environment.

There are no many photos of me as I am usually always behind the camera but I found this rare speciment from the year 2004. You can see that I am carrying nearly everything with me underwater, execpt kitchen sink. My camera hangs on my waist somewhere.

This photo was taken just two weeks after Scilla went down, so it is very clean and there is no marine life yet.

The most beautiful underwater eyes.

Cuttlefish, the one of my favourite models underwater.....I have spent hours with them, learned to keep them calm for the photos..Not an easy job...

They are constantly changing they colour according the backround to camoflage themselves and when they get stressed they will turn grey and black. If is very difficult to get close to them as they are very sensitive.

This cuttlefish is a happy male....He knows he is safe.... with me.

I spent years for waiting a rare occation;....they mating rituals....It is something special to see. Never got that on camera....It is so aggressive and fast, believe me..But I had an honor to be 'lady cuttlefish'; my hand that is. I learned to move my hand in certain way to 'fool' a male and one day, finally, after hours and hours endless hand wiggling my hand had it....the male cuttlefish love.

I am so happy about that.....!!!

This wreck has always been very 'cold' and unfriendly to me...In my head... I have dived it many times; first time when it was sank, second time three weeks later and then many, many times during my years of diving.

I have seen it to change from a clean lump of metal to the cosy home for many underwater creatures.

Today there are plenty of life in this artificial reef of Plymouth.

It is very nice wreck to dive and divers seem to love it, but for me there is always something dark in it...I never feel safe and happy there. I have no idea why.

Spiny spider Grab

Portland Harbour, U.K.

Spiny spider crab can be found on the most sea bed types, often resting in the open rather than hiding. The algae that grows in their backs can make them difficult to spot. They are occationally seen grouped together in large nating mounds which also have a protective function, the newly moulted and mated females beeing positioned in the centre. Spider crabs feed on small encrusting animals.
